Doing some soul searching, I recently discovered that what I really love in life is traveling and eating. It is just as simple as that.

​I love visiting new places and food is really what gets me excited once I get there. Meeting new people, discovering places, and eating delicious food, what could be better than that?

So I guess it comes as no huge surprise that I worked in the hospitality industry for years. Traveling and working abroad has taught me great tricks and travel hacks, but also how to spot a great place to eat! So I hope I can share them with you here. From travel tips on how to get organized, get great hotel deals, to the best things to eat. And most importantly, I want to show you the real Japan. The places I love, often off-the-beaten-track. I want to show you places you might want to visit and see them before you come to Japan or give you a little teaser of what is also out there…
