I just liked the sense of adventure this picture taken in Okinawa at sunset implies. I can almost imagine the conversation they are having, maybe a big sailboat will appear next and they climb on board or some mythical creature will emerge out of the sea and they have to fight (or befriend) it…
Although not perfect and obviously shot with a rather dirty lens, I very much do love it. There is something about Okinawa and the way the light hits that is really special and I must say I particularly like to take photos around Chatan, its Miyagi Coast, and along American Village Pier.
